This Privacy Policy explains how Reeled (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Reeled mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “App”). By using Reeled, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the App.

- Account information: username, email address, and optional profile details (bio, avatar, etc.).
- Posts and content: photos, videos, captions, and comments that you choose to upload.
- Messages: private messages and direct communications with other users.
- Support requests: when you contact us for help or feedback.
B. Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: interactions with posts, likes, comments, and search queries.
- Device data: IP address, device model, operating system, app version, and crash logs.
- Location (optional): approximate GPS data if you enable location tagging for fishing posts. We do not collect continuous background location data without consent.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to:
- Provide and maintain the App and its features.
- Display posts, profiles, and messages within the fishing community.
- Improve user experience and performance.
- Detect and prevent spam, abuse, or policy violations.

3. Fishing-Only Policy
Reeled is built exclusively for fishing and fishing-related content. Any personal data or posts you share must align with this purpose. We may review or remove non-fishing content to maintain community standards.

We may share limited data:
- With other users: your public profile and posts are visible within the App.
- With service providers: cloud storage, analytics, and authentication partners.
- For legal reasons: to comply with laws or lawful requests.
- During business changes: such as a merger or acquisition.
We never sell your personal data.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using trusted providers (e.g., Supabase) with encryption and access controls. While we use strong safeguards, no online service is completely secure.

You may:
- Access and review the data we hold about you.
- Update or correct your profile information.
- Delete your account and associated content.
- Opt out of notifications or marketing messages.

7. Data Retention
We keep your data as long as needed to operate the App. Deleted accounts are permanently removed within a reasonable time, unless we must retain certain records by law.

Reeled is not intended for children under 13. Accounts identified as belonging to a minor under 13 will be deleted.
9. Links to Other Services
Reeled may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to read their policies.
10. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed or stored on servers in other countries. By using the App, you consent to such transfers in line with this Policy.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The latest version will always be available within the App. Continued use means you accept the updated version.
